An elegant wedding at Hidden Falls in Spring Branch, TX ! This was such a dream to photograph! I love the variety of location options this gorgeous wedding venue has to offer. From the open outdoor locations (open fields, waterfalls, trees, etc) to the gorgeous indoor locations. Not only did Felicia have her beautiful bridals here… she also had her amazing wedding here!
Felicia + Derrick
After 4 beautiful years of dating, Derrick asked Felicia to be his forever… and of course, she said YES! This is how it all went down… January 29th was the day. Derrick had been secretly planning this amazing night for months (Only their family and close friends were in on the secret). He rented a room at the Westin Downtown River walk Hotel (if you have never been to this hotel… please check it out. Its pretty amazing).
How he Asked
The hotel room had an amazing view and was filled with roses + the sweetest love letter…. Derrick got down on one knee and asked Felicia to be his forever and ever. Hello…. Best best proposal ever?!! And… it doesn’t end here…. later that evening they went to dinner at Paesanos on the River walk where they celebrated with their family and close friends. I think its safe to say that this was BEST night of their life… well, except for the wedding day! 🙂
Wedding day
Felicia and Derrick’s wedding day was filled with so much joy + happiness + love. Here are a few of my favorite images from the wedding day… (trying to narrow down my favorites when I love them all… was so hard)
When your dress is amazing… and the train is long… you will need all of your amazing Bridesmaids to help steam it!

Reception
We decided to venture away from the waterfalls for Bride + Groom portraits.. and I am so glad we did!
The Bride + Groom portraits were photographed with a mix of Medium Formal Film (Fuji400) and Digital.
We had just the right amount of light + sun flare…. 
Sweet laughter and kisses…
Goodness.. this cake was amazing!!!! Creations cake did an awesome job!
You see this cake… well, steam really came out of that tube! 
The first dance! 
Yes, she changed dresses… how amazing is this dress!
Wedding tip: Allow me to clear your wedding venue out before your exit (this gives everyone time to get their sparklers, etc) and have a last dance. You wont regret it! Its so Romantic—-!! Plus… this dance only takes about 1.5-3 minutes– you’d just be standing around anyway waiting for everyone outside to get ready 🙂
