Amy & Addison’s Downtown San Antonio Engagement Session

Hearing love stories is one of my favorite parts about being a wedding and engagement photographer.  And when it’s an international love story?! SO much fun!  I’m so excited to be sharing Amy and Addison’s San Antonio Engagement session, along with their story on the blog today! 🙂

“I’m from Australia,” Amy told me. “And Addison lives here in San Antonio!  I was in town for a visit, and decided to hit up Paramour bar with my girlfriends for the evening.  It was there that I spotted Addison.  I pointed him out to my girlfriend and said ‘him’!! 😉 So my friend went up to the group he was with, and brought them back to our lounges where we were sitting.”

They two of them met, sat down together, and really hit it off for the rest of the evening.  The rest is history!

“After we met, we dated long distance,” Amy said. “And with a few trips back and forth from Australia-to-Texas, Texas-to-Australia, we got in a lot of airline miles! 🙂

“After one trip to see me for the Christmas and New Years holiday, Addison called me on the phone and told me he didn’t want to be apart ever again.  He asked me to marry him (yes, it was over the phone!)!  And of course I said yes. :)”

Isn’t that the cutest story?!  The two of them recently tied the knot in an intimate San Antonio courthouse wedding, but are planning a big ceremony in the future for their family and friends.  They reached out to me to capture their engagement photos, and I couldn’t have been happier to meet them! As you can see from their photos, Amy and Addison are SO in love! 🙂

To start off our session, we headed to the Paramour bar — the same place the two of them met! — to relive some of those special moments.  The decor there is just amazing!!  Amy’s family had just flown in to meet Addison’s parents, so I got to snap some photos in the background while the group chatted.  Such sweet moments to see! 🙂

From there Amy, Addison and I headed to a gorgeous park in downtown San Antonio! It was the perfect spot to capture them doing what they love the most…just being together. 🙂

Amy and Addison, thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer! I am so happy for the two of you! 🙂 You’re an amazing couple, and I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from your beautiful session!
