A romantic field session in downtown San Antonio for Abby and Chris – Monica Roberts Photography

After months of postponing this session due to COVID-19…. we were finally able to have this session for Abby and Chris. While I did enjoy all the extra downtime/family time…. it felt so good to be back out there shooting. 🙂

The Couple

Abby and Chris met studying abroad in Salzburg, Austria. How cool is that?!! They went to the same university (University of Portland) in Oregon, but had never met before studying abroad. The university has a small campus there. Chris was doing the year-long program, and Abby was doing the spring semester program for engineering, and they met at the start of the year in 2016 and immediately hit it off and have been together ever since!

I loved everything about this oozing with love + effortless session! Here are a few of my favorites 🙂  And YES… this is an early morning session! The morning light was so soft and beautiful!

Can we bring our pups to the session?

This is one of the most asked questions I get… and the answer is YES! It’s always YES! Please bring your fur babies with you to your session– just make sure to have someone there to help with your pup 🙂  This sweet pup was such a cutie and he had the best time running around is this beautiful open field.
