Come and experience this intimate wedding in Northern Virginia! Alec and Chrissy took their vows in in Oahu, Hawaii then came back to the states to celebrate all over again with a reception that was held at a beautiful private residence. Choosing a very elegant color palette of white, silver and pops of black it created such a sophisticated feel. There was a sweet heirloom touch in Chrissy’s necklace, it held a diamond from one of her Oma’s bracelets which I found so special! I loved to see the sweet moments and family focused details that were included into this intimate wedding in Northern Virginia.

What was the vision for your wedding, the style/color/scheme? Elegant/Elevated/Sophisticated, modern with a touch of romance alongside the garden venue. White with touches of black and silver/grey.

How/when/where did you first meet? We actually graduated from the same high school- but didn’t know each other then. We met at The University of Texas at San Antonio when I transferred there my sophomore year and we’ve been together ever since!

How/when/where did the proposal happen? Chrissy’s family planned a Christmas in Colorado trip in 2020. The first night we got to Breckenridge, we found this adorable park filled with pine trees and Christmas lights- it even started snowing as we were walking around. Fast forward to a few days later to Christmas Eve- My family had dinner reservations and my mom wanted to take “family pictures” before dinner. They suggested we go back to that park for the pictures. Alec + I were standing ready to take pictures and he turned me to the side and got down on his knee. It was a “Yes. Yes, yes, yes!” from me! The most magical winter wonderland proposal I could’ve imagined!
