Engagement Session at Hotel Emma for Charity and Eric

The kids are back in school… that means I finally have some to blog all the amazing engagement sessions, beautiful bridals, and gorgeous weddings for over the summer! I am so excited to share Charity and Eric’s romantic engagement session at Hotel Emma in San Antonio, TX! Charity and Eric are such a sweet couple, and we had so much for their sunrise (This is my favorite time to shoot– especially in the summer) engagement session!

The Proposal

“We went to eat lunch at the riverwalk with our families. As we were walking along the river heading to the restaurant (in the rain), we were walking up near the River Theater at La Villita and I saw people holding a sign on the bridge that said: “Cha, it’s our turn”. Before I could make out what the sign actually said, I started to recognize those people being our best friends. It then dawned on me what was about to happen and I was immediately overwhelmed with excitement. It all happened so fast but it was perfect, even in the rain, with our closest family and friends there”. How cute is this?!! Such a fun and romantic way to propose! I had so much fun with these two for their engagement session…. and so happy they brought their sweet little pups along for the session (which I always recommend). I can’t wait to see these two again for their beautiful Hidden Falls wedding! Here are a few of my favorite photos!

That beautiful sunrise glow! If you think a morning session will not give you that “glow”…. you are wrong. The light we had for this morning session was soooooo soft and pretty! How cute are these little pups?! I’ll be honest… one of them was NOT a fan…… lol! But I bet you can’t tell which one it was 😉

I seriously have way too many favorites from this session! Thank you Charity and Eric for trusting me to capture all these beautiful moments! I am so excited for your Hidden Falls wedding!
