Historic Elegance Meets Modern Romance: Great Marsh Estate in Virginia

As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing many beautiful weddings, but Chase and Diana’s wedding at the Great Marsh Estate in Virginia was truly a one-of-a-kind event.Their wedding was a perfect blend of traditions, incorporating a stunning lion dance into the celebrations. From the beautiful venue to the impeccable details, their wedding was truly a photographer’s dream come true.

The Great Marsh Estate, with its stunning gardens and historic buildings, was the perfect backdrop for the occasion. I was thrilled to be able to capture the beauty of the estate and the joy of the couple and their guests.

Chase, the sophisticated and stylish groom, added a touch of elegance to the wedding with his refined taste in whiskey and cigars. Sipping on Aberlour Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 2002 and The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Years, he enjoyed the finest flavors of Scotland. As he savored his whiskey, he also indulged in The Lost City – Fuente Aged Selection 1992, a truly exceptional cigar.

Against the backdrop of the historic estate, Diana and Chase’s wedding was a truly memorable occasion. Diana’s dress was a perfect complement to the elegant surroundings, and Chase’s impeccable taste added an extra layer of sophistication to the event. It was an absolute pleasure to capture the beauty and joy of their special day.

The decor flawlessly complemented the venue’s historic grandeur and beauty, resulting in an atmosphere of refined elegance that was a true reflection of the couple’s sophisticated taste.

After the ceremony, Diana changed into a traditional outfit for the lion dance. The vibrant colors and intricate details of the outfit were simply stunning. The lion dance was a highlight of the day, and I was able to capture some amazing shots of the performers and the couple as they took part in the tradition.

For the reception, Diana changed into a short, fun & flirty dress that was perfect for dancing the night away. And dance they did! The music kept the dance floor going all night long, and the energy was simply electric. I love capturing those moments of pure joy and celebration, and Chase and Diana’s wedding was full of them.
