Maternity Session in San Antonio, TX | Felicia & Derrick

This maternity session is so special to me because this makes the fourth time I’ve had Felicia and Derrick in front of my camera! From their engagement session to Felicia’s bridals to the beautiful wedding and now the maternity session…watching these two just makes me SO excited.  They’re the sweetest couple, and they’re about to be a family of THREE!!! 

Felicia really wanted a bohemian vibe for her maternity photos, and she absolutely nailed it! You never know sometimes what kind of weather you’ll have for late summer sessions, but we lucked out with a great forecast…it was a beautiful evening, and stepping into the water was so refreshing!

“Derrick and I met through one of my girlfriends,” Felicia told me when we met. “She was dating Derrick’s best friend at the time, and she introduced us!  We’ve been together for 6 years now!

“When we got engaged, Derrick had been secretly planning the night for months.  He told my family and close friends and rented a room at the Westin Downtown Riverwalk Hotel with an amazing view. When I arrived, the room was filled with roses and the sweetest love letter!  He then got down on one knee and popped the question. Of course, I said yes! 😉

“Afterwards, we went to dinner at Paesanos on the Riverwalk where we celebrated with those
closest to us. It was the BEST night of my life!”

Felicia and Derrick, I am so excited for you as you get ready to welcome your new baby!  You two are going to be amazing parents! Best of luck, and much love to the THREE of you! 🙂
