Romantic Engagement session at Kendall Plantation

I had so much fun planning and photographing this romantic + formal engagement session with Gabriela and Xavier. We had the most perfect fall weather and Kendall Plantation was the perfect backdrop. With so many cute spots on this property, we could’ve spent hours photographing out here.

The Love Story

Gabriela and Xavier met when Gabriela moved to Crystal City, Texas and attended Crystal City High School in 2008. They didn’t cross paths until 2011 at the lunch line in school. Xavier was standing right in front of Gabriela when she said hello with a hug. She had no idea she was meeting her future husband that day!
Gabriela and Xavier have been together for a little over 8 years. They graduated high school together in 2012, they graduated from college together in 2016, and started their careers shortly after. How amazing is it to grow with your best friend!

The Proposal

Xavier proposed in August of 2019, at The Pearl in San Antonio, TX. What Gabriela thought was a date night out turned into the BEST night of her life! Xavier had their families hiding in Hotel Emma and they all came out right when she said YES!
I lovelovelove this love story and cannot wait for their Fall 2020 wedding!

I had so much FUN photographing this engagement session with Gabriela and Xavier! We had the best time, the best location, and beautiful light. I cannot wait to photograph their Fall 2020 wedding.
