Romantic and Classic Summer Wedding | Sarah & Roland

I am so excited to be sharing Sarah and Roland’s wedding with you today!  These two are such a beautiful couple, and their wedding was fun, romantic and timeless!  From the sweet moment they exchanged gifts before the wedding to their grand exit at the end of the night, the entire day was so full of love and joy.  I’m so happy for the two of them! 🙂

The wedding took place at Remi’s Ridge in Hidden Falls, TX – and it was the perfect place for Sarah and Roland to tie the knot! 🙂 Remi’s Ridge has a stunning waterfall backdrop where they had the ceremony, and an indoor reception venue with high ceilings and amazing chandeliers.  It is GORGEOUS!!!

When we were talking about wedding colors, Sarah told me that she had decided on blush and ivory tones.  And I loved how they incorporated that into their entire wedding day!  There were gorgeous pink flowers, blush-colored shoes, and coordinating bridesmaids dresses in pink and neutral shades!  Everything came together for a romantic, rustic-glamour theme that was perfect for their personalities and their big day! 🙂

I thought it was so sweet when Roland and Sarah held hands before the ceremony.  They had elected not to do a First Look, but did decide that they wanted to be together in some way before they got married!  Beneath a giant oak tree they stood back-to-back, squeezing each others’ hands, and wiping away tears as they read the letters they had written for each other.  It was such a sweet moment, and even *I* might have teared up a bit behind the camera! :’)

Sarah and Roland, I am so happy for the two of you!  Thank you so much for choosing me to be your photographer.  No matter how many weddings I photograph, they never get old – and your sweet love for each other is the motivation behind why I do what I do! <3  You’re perfect!
