A Downtown San Antonio Engagement Session | Devynn & Klayton

I get to work with the best couples, and these two are no exception!  When I first began chatting with Devynn, I was struck with just how sweet she was!  It’s easy to see why Klayton adores her. 🙂  We actually decided to have both Devynn’s bridal session and their engagement session on the same day— about 10 days prior to their wedding— and it was sooo much fun!!!  She was a bit nervous going into the day (something I totally get!), but they SO completely rocked both sessions, and I’m so excited to be sharing their engagement photos today on the blog!

“We met at a high school football game!” Devynn told me. “where Klayton played for the team, and I was the water girl.  I saw him and thought he had really great teeth haha!  I also loved how he seemed to make everyone feel at ease in every situation. I was smitten from the beginning!”

“Our mutual friend told me that she had a crush on me,” Klayton said, grinning. “So I jumped on the opportunity!  I thought she had gorgeous eyes, and loved how determined she was when she set her mind to something.  We’ve been together for 9 years now!”

“We have dogs together,” Devynn continued. “And when Klayton proposed, he used our dog Bernee to get my attention!  It was a quiet Friday night, and when I turned back from looking at Bernee, there Klayton was on one knee. He repeated his girlfriend proposal back to me, but this time he changed it to WIFE!  Of course I said YES!!!”

Devynn and Klayton, I am so excited for you two! 🙂 I can’t wait to be sharing photos soon from your WEDDING, but for now – enjoy a few favorites from your engagement session!  Hugs to you both!
