For nearly two decades, I’ve had the honor of documenting love stories as a wedding photographer. Over the course of 20 years, I’ve photographed more than 600 weddings—each one as unique as the people at its heart. My work has taken me around the globe, from the charming streets of Europe to the breathtaking islands of Hawaii, and across the U.S. I consider it an absolute privilege to witness and capture such profound moments of joy and connection.
Weddings truly feed my soul. They’re like water to me—necessary, life-giving, and deeply fulfilling. There’s something magical about gathering so many people in one space, united by a single purpose: love. It’s the energy in the room that captivates me the most. It’s a powerful, positive force that transforms a space and leaves a lasting imprint on everyone who’s there.
Sure, the beautiful décor, intricate details, and carefully curated aesthetics are meaningful, but what I cherish most is the energy—the laughter, the tears, the quiet moments, and the loud ones. It’s the kind of beauty that transcends cultural traditions, whether I’m photographing a South Asian wedding filled with vibrant colors and rich rituals, a traditional American wedding with heartfelt vows, or a Muslim ceremony steeped in grace and reverence. Every celebration has its own rhythm, its own soul, and that’s what I strive to capture.
Photography has taught me so much about myself. Over the years, I’ve come to realize that authenticity isn’t about saying the right things—it’s about being present and embracing the moment fully. My role as a photographer is not just to take pictures but to truly feel the room, to connect with the emotions swirling around me, and to translate them into images that hold weight and meaning.
It’s a humbling experience to witness these milestones and know that what I create will live on as memories for generations. I approach every wedding with a deep sense of respect—not just for the traditions and the couple, but for the fleeting moments that make the day unforgettable.
And maybe that’s why I’m so drawn to weddings. It’s one of the rare times in life when time seems to stand still, even as the day moves so quickly. The collective joy, the coming together of people who care deeply for one another—it’s a reminder of what truly matters in life.
This is who I am. I am an observer, a storyteller, and a believer in the transformative power of love. Weddings inspire me to see beauty in the little things, to pause, to feel, and to remember that in the end, it’s the love and connection that matter most.
